Drum & Dance Circle at Fort Myers Art Walk
We're meeting in front of the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, 2301 First St, downtown Ft Myers around sundown. With the weather dress accordingly (we're outside) and bring water! Usually you can find parking on the street, but there is free parking at the Harborside Events Center and shuttle service. There is construction downtown and some streets may be closed, so be advised!
The drummers usually start to gather at 6 p.m., but we usually don't start dancing until about 7:30 p.m. when the sun is down, take a break 8:30 to 9 p.m. then dance again. There is a one-act play inside the Art Center at 7 p.m. and again at 8:30 p.m.; we cannot make noise (music) while it is in progress as the sound carries.

Ballet for the Bellydancer with Heidi Marie
- Heidi Marie is a professional bellydancer, classical dancer, and choreagrapher. Dancing since the age of six, she has a backround in classical ballet and modern dance. She has studied under Kristen O'Neal, Angela McDonough, Katie Audette, Giovanni Luquini, and Master Teachers Magda Aunon and Magaly Suarez (Cuban National Ballet). In addition to her solo career, she performs as a guest artist with classical and oriental dance companies throughout South Florida.
This class will introduce students to begginer level ballet technique. The class will consist of stretching, excercises, and basic positions and steps to improve posture, flexibility, balance, and strength. The students will also be taught simple combinations that they can incorporate into belly dance routines.

Enjoy a Belly Dance performance with your dinner, now every Saturday through December (between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m., depending upon reservations) usually featuring Na'ila or Inara. Call the restaurant for reservations, and be sure to tell them you want to see the Belly Dancer!
Outside seating is available, but the best view of the dancer's show will be inside.
The food here is wonderful, cooked to order, and entrees average about $20-$30 (about what you would usually pay at any Naples boutique restaurant). Wine list, wine by the glass and beer served.
Full Moon Sacred Women Circles
Sacred Women Circles have been taking place since ancient times. Women would gather to celebrate their femininity,share sorrows or joy, to be a witness for each other in moments of declarations. We come together under the energy of the Full Moon to connect with Her nurturing, healing and empowering us to Be who we were born to be: Sacred, Strong, Empowered Women.
Every month we will connect and celebrate using the different zodiac sign of the moon, to align ourselves with it for our highest and best good. Celebration through chanting mantras , Toning sacred sounds, aromatherapy, spoken word-sharing, yoga, dance, singing crystal bowl healing, meditation......& so much more.
